York Chess Club is teaming up with The Academic Athlete, a York, PA nonprofit dedicated to helping children from all backgrounds to succeed academically, to host a free youth-only chess club event in York.
Youth Chess Event
The event is for any student in grades 3 through 12 who has an interest in chess. All skill levels are welcome.
It will be held Sunday, May 24, at The Academic Athlete’s beautiful meeting space in the Susquehanna Commerce Center.
Space is limited and registration is required, so sign up now! This will be a great opportunity to meet new players, get one-on-one instruction, and have some fun!

Important Parent Information: All volunteers with The Academic Athlete have successfully completed the required background checks and clearances to work with youth. Your child’s safety and well-being are our top priorities.
Drop-off: By 2:00 PM
Pick-up: Promptly at 3:30 PM
To help create a focused and comfortable environment for all students, we kindly ask that parents drop off their children and do not enter the room during the session.
