Chess Club Meetings
York Chess Club meetings are for anyone interested in playing friendly games of chess. All skill levels and ages are welcome.
Check the listings below for a meeting time and location that works for you!




York Chess Club
Kreutz Creek Library, 66 Walnut Springs Rd., Hellam Township, hosts York Chess Club the first, second, and third Tuesdays of each month from 6 to 8 p.m.
The Altland House Inn, 1 Center Square, Abbottstown, PA, hosts York Chess Club the second Thursday of each month from 6 to 9 p.m.
WHAT TO EXPECT
York Chess Club meetings mostly consist of casual games. We bring extra chess sets and clocks to each meeting, but if you have your own set please bring it just in case.
We do not charge membership dues, but do ask that you support businesses that host us.

HOST YORK CHESS Club
If you have a quiet venue with great parking and are interested in hosting York Chess Club events, please contact us! We are especially interested in locations we could use for weekly chess meetings.
Other Clubs
The Valley Chess Nuts meet Mondays from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Valley Tavern, 1 Cherry St., Seven Valleys.
First Church of Hanover, 200 Frederick St., Hanover, hosts chess club meetings led by Corey Flora on Tuesdays and Fridays from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Paul A. Smith Library, 80 Constitution Ave., Shrewsbury, hosts chess club the first and third Wednesdays of each month from 6 to 8 p.m.
